Located in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, Millbrae Bible Church is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic, Christian church that has its roots as a Baptist church. We are pastor- and elder-led, have a staff of 6 and a congregation of about 200 people, of which 40 are middle school and high school students.
Youth Pastor or Youth Director
We are hiring for a full-time Youth Pastor position (preferred) or Youth Director position. We are seeking a godly, loving individual with a shepherd's heart for youth, ministry co-workers and parents and a vision for discipleship and evangelism.
The mission of our Youth Ministry is to make and build followers of Jesus Christ who love God and love others, giving them the foundation and nurturing to walk with Jesus and mature in their life of faith and obedience to Him.

      A master’s degree from an accredited seminary and 1.5+ years of full-time experience in youth ministry or part-time, serving in a major leadership role in youth ministry, are required. General Description: - Formulate and communicate youth ministry vision and strategy and oversee the implementation of that plan 
- Preach and teach God’s truth at church youth meetings and periodically in congregation-wide worship service 
- Recruit, train, disciple and mentor youth workers and student leaders 
- Organize service, evangelism and missions opportunities for youth 
- Provide pastoral care for youth and youth workers 
- Oversee and support all youth ministry activities and events 
- Provide spiritual leadership and guidance for church’s summer day camp staff and program 
- Manage communication and administrative needs of the youth ministry, including the budget 
- Invest in building intergenerational culture with church leadership, inviting and equipping parents and the church to contribute to the spiritual maturity of youth

      An undergraduate degree from a bible college (or working towards finishing degree) and direct experience serving in youth ministry (paid or volunteer). This individual can have an undergraduate degree from a non-bible college, but must have a calling and heart to serve youth and student ministry. This individual would be directed, mentored, and coached by the lead pastor. Support for future seminary degree (tuition) available. General Description: - Provide leadership and develop, coordinate, plan, and implement comprehensive youth programs and initiatives 
- Guide the development and implementation of activities, calendar, and events that are designed to improve the quality of life for young people in our community 
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with youth, families, and community partners 
- Provide counseling to youths and help them realize their individual spiritual goals through discipleship 
- Administer and plan youth programs like evangelism, retreats and Bible study sessions, as well as support local school Christian clubs and events 
- Coordinate with parents of youth group members regarding their children's involvement and participation in the church

Creative & Communications Coordinator
Are you passionate about design, storytelling, and using creative tools to build the Church? We're looking for a Creative & Communications Coordinator to help us clearly and beautifully communicate the mission and life of our church—inside and out.
This role blends creativity and strategy, design and logistics. You’ll be responsible for maintaining our visual brand, leading communication efforts across platforms, and helping us engage both our congregation and our broader community.

      - Status: Part-Time, Salaried 
- Hours: 15 Hours per week 
- Salary: $22.05 per hour 
 
- 
      
      Branding & Visual Identity - Maintain the look, feel, and tone of MBC’s brand across all platforms. 
- Design visuals that are clear, engaging, and aligned with our church’s mission. 
- Ensure consistent branding in all print, digital, and in-building materials. 
- Building Facility - To maintain the look/feel of visuals/graphics inside our building (posters, signage) 
 Event Marketing - Design and distribute promotional materials for church events: - Print: flyers, booklets, posters, etc.) 
- Website: Update and maintain design for clarity and usability. 
- Sunday Visuals: Sermon series graphics, announcement slides, etc. 
 
- Support ministry leads with creative assets for their events. 
 Communication & Strategy - Church-Wide Communication: Keep the congregation informed of services, events, meet-ups, church updates, and more. - Develop a communication schedule to ensure timely and consistent messaging. 
- Maintain and oversee communication channels (weekly emails, website, Sunday communications, social media 
 
- Collaboration & Messaging - Work with ministry leaders to support their Event Form submissions (via Planning Center, Info Table, MBCLife). 
- Standardize messaging across all platforms—written and visual. 
- Understand the audiences MBC is trying to reach, and recommend or implement communication strategies for more effective engagement and outreach.

      - Strong design skills (experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) 
- Experience with digital communications (email marketing, social media, websites) 
- A heart for the Church and using creativity to serve God’s mission 
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects and timelines 
- Bonus Skills (Not required but appreciated) - Photography – Capturing moments from services and events. 
- Videography – Creating recap videos, testimony stories, or event promos. 
- Experience with basic web design (Squarespace)
